Live Google results via ValueSERP; Domain Rating by Ahrefs. Results vary by location and personalization.

How it works

  1. Searches run through ValueSERP, which queries Google live: google.com from the United States in English for global sites, google.co.kr from Seoul in Korean for Korean sites.
  2. Two queries are made, site:yourdomain.com and your brand name; if the site: search comes back empty, it is retried once as a mobile search.
  3. Search results are cached for up to 6 hours per query, so repeating the test soon after shows the same results.
  4. Domain Rating comes from Ahrefs' free Domain Rating lookup and is cached for 24 hours.
  5. Live searches take 10–40 seconds; if a lookup service does not respond, that part is marked as not measured instead of counting against you.

How it is scored

The score uses our item-weighted formula: a pass earns full credit, a warning half and a fail none, with indexed pages weighted 3×, brand ranking 2× and Domain Rating 1×. If the site: search comes back empty but your site appears in the brand search, indexing counts as a warning, because the site is evidently indexed. Lookups that fail are not scored.

FAQ

How do I check if my website is indexed by Google?
Search Google for site:yourdomain.com, or run this test, which does that live and shows the results. The count Google shows is only a rough estimate. For the exact number of indexed pages and the reasons pages are left out, use the Page indexing report in Google Search Console.
Why does my site not show up when I search for my brand name?
Common causes are a new site that Google has barely crawled, a brand name shared with other companies, and pages blocked by robots.txt or noindex. Use your brand name consistently in the title, H1 and Organization structured data, and link to your site from your official social profiles and directory listings.
What is Domain Rating, and what is a good score?
Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs' 0–100 measure of the strength of a site's backlink profile. It is not a Google metric, but it is a useful benchmark against competitors in your field. This test passes 30 or higher, warns at 15–29 and fails below 15; new sites usually start low.
Why do my results differ from what I see in Google?
Google tailors results to location, language, device and search history. This test searches from the United States in English (or from Seoul in Korean for Korean sites) on desktop, without any personal history, and results are cached for up to 6 hours.
How can I improve my Domain Rating?
Earn links from relevant, reputable sites: industry media, partners, associations, local directories, and resources others want to cite, such as original data and guides. Buying links violates Google's spam policies and can lead to a manual action.
